The pigeons in our garden usually scavenge on the ground from what's dropped from hanging bird feeders. However, they have a strong liking of blossom, here on a cherry tree. The photos may suggest that this blossom-picking is done in a calm manner but actually when they 'get stuck in' you'd think they were trying to wreck the tree, branches swaying everywhere.
